Eisla is operated by Andy (trading as Eisla), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK GDPR, Andy is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect
- Email address — when you join our waitlist or create an account.
- Usage and analytics data — pages visited, clicks, scrolls, and session recordings, collected via ContentSquare.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, and referring URL, collected automatically when you visit the site.
3. Why we collect it and our legal basis

4. Who we share your data with
We use the following third-party processors. We do not sell your data.
Buttondown
Used to manage our waitlist and send email updates. Buttondown is based in the United States; transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
ContentSquare
Used for behavioural analytics, including click and scroll tracking. See ContentSquare's privacy centre.
5. How long we keep your data
- Waitlist email addresses — until you unsubscribe, or when Eisla has launched and the waitlist is no longer needed.
- Account data — for as long as your account is active, plus up to 12 months after closure.
- Analytics data — as set by ContentSquare in accordance with their own retention policy (typically 365 days).
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability (where processing is based on consent or contract)
- Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect prior processing)

7. Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first — please contact us at andy@eisla.io.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. For significant changes we will notify waitlist subscribers by email.
